Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Accountant - MN Licensed will manage accounting functions for the healthcare system, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, journal entries, and grant accounting activities. Key responsibilities Prepares, reconciles, and analyzes routine and complex financial statements and reports Conducts compliance verification and assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and annual audits Reviews and administers financial terms of grants, including budgets and reporting requirements Required qualifications Graduation from an accredited college with a major in accounting or business administration with an emphasis in accounting One to three years of general ledger experience in an automated environment preferred Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly in Excel Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting systems Integrity and reliability in work ethic
