Accounting PositionEssential duties:Entering financial data and transactions into the accounting softwarePrepare GL schedules and analysisMaintain the bank reconciliationPrepare and post journal entriesReviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accountsAnalyzing financial data and providing financial recommendationsHelp the senior accountants in closing the books monthlyCollaborating with AP/AR/Cash management to complete accurate records and provide accounting supportPreparing taxes or gathering tax documentsMaintain fixed assets registerAttend the periodical inventory count and correct pertinent informationSupport in the external audit process and other ad-hoc requirements from the managementQualifications:Associate degree3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred but not a must.Excellent excel skills.Analytical skills and attention to details.Self starter, motivated and team player.Benefits:We offer our employees a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes a comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental Plan, Company paid Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k) Plan, and Education/Certification assistance.WTEC Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
