This role plays a key role in maintaining the organization's financial health.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze general ledger entries and financial transactionsConduct daily cash flow analysis for assigned fundsPerform monthly bank reconciliationsAnalyze financial data, including assets, liabilities, and capitalAudit contracts, orders, and vouchers for accuracyMaintain fixed asset recordsDevelop and implement accounting procedures and internal controlsVerify bank deposits and ensure accuracyMonitor compliance with GAAP and organizational policiesInvestigate and resolve financial discrepanciesPrepare payroll and daily bank depositsMaintain company benefits recordsAssist with the preparation of federal, state, and local financial reportsRecommend improvements to accounting processesEnsure compliance with financial and legal requirementsPerform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Experience: Candidates should possess 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for backgrounds in non-profit accounting.
