Accountant
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 / Ashburn, VA 20147 / Lake Mary, FL 32746 (Hybrid – 2 days a month, every 2nd & 3rd Tuesday for now but can increase in future)
Duration: 4 months (possible extension)
Dealbreaker:
- Basic accounting background who understands and can review invoices and PO’s
- Experience in Finance Accounting, matching purchase requests to invoices.
- Ability to use Excel
- Detail oriented, Good communication, Team player
- Invoice validation of the vendor invoices to match against the PO’s
- Any EPR experience is helpful (Verizon currently uses 1ERP on daily bases – will be trained on the internal system VZ uses)
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Google
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communications skills/Attention to detail
- Experience with working with large set of data
- Familiarity with FASB requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience with financial systems, procedures and verification, and understanding of financial statements and concepts
Must Have Skills:
- Functional to expert in excel
- Detailed Oriented
- General Understanding of Accounting, Purchase Orders and Invoicing
- Need to have some experience in Finance Accounting, matching purchase requests to invoices.
