Responsibilities include review/process capex purchase requests, capital asset disposal/transfer, monthly reconciliation of fixed asset subledger, monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close activities, supporting quarterly reviews and annual audit, monitoring internal controls. The candidate must have advanced skills in Excel, strong knowledge of GAAP, ability to reconcile and present complex data, and collaborate cross-functionally.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Review, analyze and process all capital asset purchase requestsReview, analyze and process all capital asset disposal and capital asset transfer requestsPrepare monthly reconciliation of fixed asset subledger to General Ledger balancesAssist in preparation of documentation for internal/external audit requests and SOX compliance dataPrepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of fixed asset subledgerAid cross functional teams on questions regarding corporate fixed asset policies & proceduresSupport ERP implementationsMaintain fixed asset tax ledgersPrepare fixed asset roll forwardMaintain and close Asset ManagementMonitor and implement fixed assets internal controls to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risksAssist with preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecastsOrganize and archive documents to support appropriate controls environmentSupport internal and external audits and Ad Hoc projects and analysis, as neededKnowledge, Skills And Abilities For Success:Accounting/Finance experience in a manufacturing setting with knowledge of fixed assets; inventory; CAPEX/OPEXStrong knowledge of GAAP and Accounting SystemsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex data to a wide variety of stakeholdersAbility to reconcile large data sets with advanced level skills in MS Excel and Business Intelligence reporting toolsAbility to prioritize and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentMust be organized and detail-orientedStrong analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a team-based environmentExcellent written and verbal communications skillsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal customersContinuously perform to high ethical standards and those established from an Internal Controls/Legal perspective.Basic Education And Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeAt least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experienceAll candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent residentPreferred Experience:Accounting experience in a publicly traded manufacturing company with experience in fixed assets, inventory, month/quarter/year end close activities, and audit preparationWe Value:Ability to anticipate and understand customer needs and provide guidanceExcellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills to handle difficult and sensitive matters.Strong project management skills.
