AccountantThis role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.About the RoleAs an Accountant, you will support the company's financial reporting and accounting processes by ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards. You will contribute to the month-end close process, perform account analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial integrity.What You'll DoPrepare SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, Proxy, etc.), ensuring accurate and timely reporting and offering best practice suggestionsRecord journal entries and support the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingPrepare and maintain account reconciliations, investigating and resolving variancesReview transactions and contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with U.S.
GAAPAssist in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentationSupport internal and external reporting requirements, including audit requests and compliance activitiesPerform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvementCollaborate with business partners to ensure accurate financial data and understanding of accounting impactsSupport SOX compliance efforts, including documentation and validation of key controlsAssist with continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and reportingAdditional tasks may be assignedWhat Skills You HaveRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fieldStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with technical accountingAdvanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Financial Software programsExcellent accounting skillsStrong critical thinking, attention to detail, time management and communication skillsAdept multitaskerPreferred:Prior accounting or finance experienceCPA or MBARetail industry experience
