Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end/year-end close.
- Research and apply GAAP, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support investment, derivative, and deposit accounting operations.
- Prepare and review financial reports, disclosures, and audit documentation.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
- Support accounting policy development and public company readiness.
- Collaborate with management, auditors, and accounting teams to meet deadlines.
Required Skills:
- Strong corporate and technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience with GL, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Ability to independently research and interpret accounting guidance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Preferred: Banking/financial services experience, SEC reporting, and CPA certification.
