What You'll Do
- Support the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and performing account analysis.
- Research accounting and financial questions for management, including investigating and explaining variances, trends, and results against expectations.
- Collaborate across departments and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Interpret and apply GAAP and other relevant accounting guidance to contracts, transactions, and business activities.
- Partner with internal teams on special projects supporting company growth and operational improvements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting as the business evolves.
- Serve as a trusted accounting partner to leadership by providing accurate financial information, thoughtful analysis, and clear insights.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain financial activity to non-accounting stakeholders
- Comfort working with sensitive, high-importance accounts where accuracy and discretion matter
- Interest in process improvement, systems, and continuous learning
- ERP experience or exposure is a plus, but not required
- Public accounting or distribution industry experience is helpful, but not mandatory
