With our entrepreneurial philosophy, there is truly nothing holding you back.ResponsibilitiesStarting as a Staff Accountant, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis.Prepare financial statementsPerform branch audit evaluationsAssemble bank reconciliation and account schedulesPrepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocationsExecute accounts payables and receivablesParticipate in a timely and accurate month-end closing processAssist branch personnel with questions regarding accounting policies and proceduresAnalyze income statement fluctuations for assigned branchesProvide process improvement and cost saving ideasMay be responsible for T&E reports, coding, account classification and reimbursement amountsMay be responsible for preparation of sales and other tax returnsPrepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocationsQualificationsMust have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Must be flexible to relocate outside local area/state to accept potential promotional opportunitiesMust have an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel and Word).Must live in a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour of this location or must be relocating to the area within 30 days of offer of employment.The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position.
