Accountant

Salary: $70,000–$80,000
Location: Arvada, CO (On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join its growing corporate accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and use tax, multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement while working directly with finance leadership.

Accountant Responsibilities

As the Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare collections reporting and consolidate AP data for leadership reporting
  • Process sales and use tax filings across multiple states and jurisdictions
  • Serve as a resource for regional teams on AP, AR, and accounting questions
  • Process shared corporate expenses, including legal, insurance, rent, and other recurring costs
  • Support multi-entity accounting activities and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely financial reporting

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting
  • Experience preparing sales and use tax filings is strongly preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and lookups
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to grow within corporate accounting
