Please ensure when submitting candidates you input into the summary the salary that the candidate is requiring as well is that the candidate has verbalized that they are ok with the in-office requirements.Our client is seeking an Accountant 2 position to fulfill daily accounting, book month-end close entries, perform account reconciliation and analysis, and use accounting principles, practices, and procedures to deliver accurate and timely financial reports. This position must meet tight deadlines and complete a multitude of accounting activities.ResponsibilitiesAssist with month-end close process including preparing journal entriesPrepare and/or review daily/monthly account reconciliationsAssist with financial statement review and analysisComplete audit requests as neededAssist with the preparation of annual audited financial statements and quarterly board packagesAssist with regulatory filingsAssist with process improvement initiativesEnsure accounting procedures are documented and updated, as necessaryReview and update internal controls as needed and ensure compliance when completing assigned dutiesPerform other tasks and projects as assignedMinimum qualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting3+ years of experienceCPA certification/candidatePreferred qualificationsPublic accounting experienceRegulatory reporting experienceStrong computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving abilityStrong organization skillsAbility to work under deadlinesGood leadership and project management skillsPeoplesoft/SAAS/Blackline Systems experience would be helpful
