Freelance Account Executive - Pharmaceutical Agency

This is not a sales role . We are seeking candidates with Account Management, Project Management, or pharmaceutical agency operations experience rather than sales backgrounds.
A leading pharmaceutical agency is seeking a Freelance Account Executive to support high-volume account operations, label update projects, and new business initiatives. This is a highly process-driven role focused on execution, workflow management, and keeping projects moving efficiently through regulated pharmaceutical review processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Veeva Vault experience is required (including tagging, linking, routing, and document management)
- Prior pharmaceutical agency experience or experience within an in-house pharmaceutical agency
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience supporting MLR/regulatory review workflows
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-focused
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pharmaceutical workflow activities, including Veeva Vault document management and review processes
- Coordinate label update projects and other regulated materials through approval workflows
- Maintain project trackers, status reports, timelines, and action items
- Assist with budgeting, financial tracking, billing reconciliation, and administrative account support
- Partner cross-functionally with Account, Project Management, Creative, Medical, Editorial, and Digital teams
- Support new business onboarding and periods of increased project volume
Nice to Have:
- NetSuite experience
- Hybrid Account Management / Project Management background
