This role focuses on providing independent, advisory opinions related to injury causation, accident dynamics, and biomechanical analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform accident reconstruction and biomechanical analysesAssess injury mechanisms and consistency with incident reportsReview records, police reports, and related documentationPrepare clear, well-supported expert reportsProvide deposition and/or trial testimony as neededQualificationsAdvanced degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related disciplineProven experience in accident reconstruction and injury analysisPrior expert witness testimony (deposition and/or trial) requiredStrong analytical, writing, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesEngagement DetailsIndependent contractor (1099), case-by-case assignmentsFull flexibility to accept or decline cases based on availabilityCompetitive compensationAll case materials provided by Dane StreetStandard report turnaround time of approximately 5 business days
