Access Control TechnicianNetwork Controls and Electric Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced Access Control Technician. The Access Control Technician will install specified card access systems offered by Network Controls to existing and new clientele throughout the Greater Columbia marketplace.
Some travel may be required but will be on a case-by-case basis and is generally limited to a maximum of two weeks in duration.Position Responsibilities:Install the following hardware:Card or Biometric ReadersDoor Contact & Door Position SwitchesElectronic Strike or Mag LocksElectronic Latch Retraction KitsAssociated control cabling when requiredConfigure software and set up doors & schedulesInstall any mercury-based control moduleEffectively communicate job status via email or other reporting systemInterface with customer and assigned Project Manager on productionAdditional responsibilities/duties as required.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Must be proficient in the following systems:Mercury-based control panelsAvigilon ACMGenetec SynergisPaxton Net 2, Paxton 10AxisAvigilon ACC 6 or greaterValerusExacqVisionGenetec OmnicastProficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web-based applicationsTeamwork oriented with mentoring skills and a willingness to help othersThe ability to work with all departments internallyStrong customer service and organizational skillsValid in-state Driver's License and acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Report/Driving Record)Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.
