Access Control Installer - Job Description:
Install, wire, terminate, and test access control equipment such as card readers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, door position switches (DPS), and power supplies.
Route, identify, organize, and secure low-voltage cable through conduit, J-hooks, cable tray, and other approved pathways while maintaining professional, code-compliant installations.
Install and properly secure access control panels, enclosures, locking devices, and related field equipment in accordance with project plans and manufacturer specifications.
Review blueprints, riser diagrams, schematics, and device layouts to accurately plan equipment locations and cable routing.
Coordinate with electricians, construction crews, and other trades on active job sites to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Basic Requirement:
Valid Driver s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Minimum 1 year of experience installing access control systems.
