In this role you will design, analyze, and test a variety of structures and systems to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards. THE WORK - Lay out conceptual designs early in the design phase and support proposal efforts - lead mechanical design throughout the execution phase on multiple projects - Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to evaluate material and component structural and thermal data applying it to the design - Interpret design specifications, codes, and standards to ensure project compliance. - Collaborate with project teams to verify design intent and resolve issues promptly. - Provide technical support during fabrication and validation phases of the engineering cycle.WHO WE ARE Our organization leads the development of advanced materials and products for critical aerospace and defense missions.
