Academic Vascular & Interventional Radiologist

Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital are seeking an Academic Vascular & Interventional Radiologist to join their innovative and expanding Vascular & Interventional Radiology program. This hybrid academic-private practice model offers faculty the resources of an academic medical center combined with the efficiency of a private practice environment. Physicians will enjoy a collaborative, flexible setting with opportunities to engage in advanced vascular interventions, clinical care, teaching, and research.

Practice Info

• Hybrid academic-private practice model combining an academic medical center and private practice environment
• Collaborative team of 10 Interventional Radiology faculty members in a rapidly expanding practice
• State-of-the-art facilities and advanced procedural platforms
• Program recognized for advanced vascular interventions, interventional oncology, and transplant-related procedures

Responsibilities

• Focus on clinical procedural work, outpatient clinic, teaching, or a combination of all three
• Perform a diverse procedural portfolio including peripheral arterial disease interventions, deep vein thrombectomy, dialysis access creation, and interventional oncology procedures
• Participate in comprehensive outpatient vascular disease clinics, wound care and limb preservation programs, and hepatology and transplant clinics
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary vascular and tumor board care pathways and long-term patient management
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in the Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program
• Contribute to didactic education, procedural training, scholarly activity, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in clinical research, clinical trials, and academic publications and presentations

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Interventional Radiology training
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
• Strong interest in clinical Interventional Radiology and multidisciplinary care
• Commitment to academic excellence, teaching, and patient-centered care
