Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring, reinforce classroom lessons, and help create an encouraging, inclusive learning environment. You’ll collaborate with a diverse AmeriCorps team, receive ongoing training and coaching, and contribute to school-wide initiatives, gaining meaningful experience in education, leadership, and youth development.
