Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, providing small-group and one-on-one academic support, mentoring, and classroom assistance. You’ll help students build skills in core subjects, track progress, and encourage positive attendance and engagement. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, participate in training and professional development, and model social-emotional skills while contributing to an inclusive, social justice–oriented school community.
