As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve in a partner public school, providing academic support, mentoring, and positive encouragement to students. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll lead small-group and one-on-one tutoring, monitor student progress, and help create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment. You’ll collaborate with teachers, model social-emotional skills, and participate in school-wide initiatives.
