As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, providing small-group tutoring, classroom support, and mentorship to help students succeed. You’ll reinforce lessons in core subjects, track academic progress, and build students’ social-emotional skills and confidence. Working within a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, participate in training and leadership development, and help create an inclusive, engaging school environment while making a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
