As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing individualized and small-group tutoring in core subjects, tracking student progress, and supporting classroom instruction. You’ll build strong relationships, mentor students in social-emotional skills, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. As part of a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll receive ongoing training, coaching, and professional development while contributing to educational equity and student success.
