Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll work in public schools to provide individualized and small‑group academic support, focusing on core subjects like literacy and math. You will build strong, trust‑based relationships with students, serve as a positive role model, and collaborate closely with teachers to reinforce classroom instruction and monitor progress. In this role, you’ll also help lead enrichment activities, support a positive school climate, and participate in ongoing professional development within City Year’s collaborative, equity‑focused culture.
