Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Support students in mastering academic concepts and skills in subjects such as Math, Science, Language Arts, or Social Studies
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and intellectual curiosity
Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed
Develop assessments and evaluate student performance
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including grades, attendance, and behavioral reports
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student success
- Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and other professional development opportunities
- Use technology to enhance learning and teaching practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Academic Subject Area, or related field
Valid teaching certification or state-required credentials
Experience teaching in a classroom setting (preferred)
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of academic standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
