The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a Cytopathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology.
Required
Cases cover a wide variety of non-GYN in addition to robust gynecological specimens. Rapid on-site evaluations are supported with tele-cytology. Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:
- General and cytopathology sign out
- Autopsy pathology
- Frozen section performance
- Select areas of Laboratory Medicine
- Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
- Multidisciplinary tumor boards
- Residency teaching and oversight
- Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching
