Academic Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Physician

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking a full-time Academic Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine Physician to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Saint Louis University Hospital. Candidates will engage in direct patient care across inpatient ICU, pulmonary consult services, and outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine clinics. This is an exciting academic opportunity involving resident and fellow education, scholarly activities, and a balanced schedule.

Practice Info

• Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Saint Louis University Hospital
• Inpatient ICU and pulmonary consult services
• Outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine clinics
• Supervision of Internal Medicine residents and Hospitalist APPs
• Level 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital in Stroke, Trauma and STEMI
• Medical teaching hospital for Saint Louis University School of Medicine

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine
• Maintain an active Sleep Medicine practice, including evaluation and management of sleep disorders
• 7 days on / 7 days off critical care schedule
• Inpatient ICU and pulmonary consult services
• Outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine clinics
• Supervision of Internal Medicine residents and Hospitalist APPs
• Commitment to medical student, resident, and fellow education
• Participation in scholarly activities and academic program development

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• 7 days on / 7 days off critical care schedule

Requirements

• MD or DO
• BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
• Must have completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
