Administrator Of Academic Programs
Join the Department of Mathematics and Statistics as an Administrator of Academic Programs and help strengthen the business and administrative foundation of programs that advance student success. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Sciences and Mathematics is seeking a detail-oriented, student focused, collaborative professional to help coordinate programs and administration for their department.
Responsibilities
Coordinates undergraduate student registration and room scheduling, assists with course scheduling, and provides assistance with office and classroom technology.
Assists the Undergraduate Program Officer with administering undergraduate academic programs.
Provides support and customer service related to the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment.
Assists course coordinators with organizing mathematics and statistics uniform final examinations.
Liaises with various offices and colleges across campus to provide support for Camp War Eagle, pre-registration planning, and registration.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Level I:
Bachelor's degree - no specific discipline
Level II:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in project or program administration.
Level III:
Bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in project or program administration.
SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED FOR EDUCATION: Yes, when a candidate has the required experience, but lacks the required education, they may normally apply additional relevant experience toward the education requirement, at a rate of two (2) years relevant experience per year of required education.
