To support the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education, the full-time Academic Program Officer will manage day-to-day operations of online educator preparation programs, oversee student support initiatives, and collaborate on the development of alternative pathways to licensure, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for students and faculty regarding course enrollment and program requirements Monitor students' academic progress and coordinate support with Student Affairs and faculty advisors Develop and implement materials for orientations and community events while maintaining program Canvas sites Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred 2+ years of relevant professional experience required; 3+ years strongly preferred Experience in advising, curriculum development, or program implementation Teaching license and/or experience in preK-12 education Experience in a higher education setting is preferred
