Reporting to the Dean, School of Health Sciences and Professional Programs, the Academic Program Manager in the Nursing department will serve as the Clinical Coordinator and manage clinical nursing operations.
The duties include but are not limited to:
Manage the nursing accreditation process
Lead and manage clinical nursing fieldwork assignments and experiences; serve as lead for all York clinical nursing sites
Explore and recommend new clinical nursing rotation opportunities in conjunction with course Lead instructors and course coordinators
Review clinical reports and evaluations; compile and analyze data for decisioning on success of clinical site use
Manage the nursing adjunct hire and assignment process; host the York College adjunct faculty orientation
Develop, update and enhance nursing program clinical policy
Oversee Nursing Simulation open lab hours
Other clinical nursing administrative duties as assigned in support of student success
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required. RN License (New York State) required.
Preferred:
Master's Degree
Five years of clinical experience in nursing
Two or more years of clinical teaching in at least one nursing specialty

Implements and monitors a comprehensive academic program development plan; makes recommendations to improve department policies and procedures
Assists Director with outcome assessment and strategic planning to further develop program offerings

Serves as resource expert regarding program policies and procedures
May manage professional and/or clerical staff
May act on behalf of Director in his/her absence
Performs related duties as assigned.

$105,992 - 113,745 - Salary commensurate with education and experience.
