Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology seeks full-time Sleep Neurology faculty members at any rank. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Role Overview
Appointees will join a growing neurosciences service line, which includes the opportunity to practice at University of Chicago's expanding clinical locations both in and outside of our main campus in Hyde Park. Appointees will participate in clinical, educational, and research activities including outpatient clinic, inpatient service (may be optional if a pure outpatient position is desired), polysomnogram and home sleep study interpretations, and involvement with fellow, resident, and medical student education. Administrative and leadership roles may be available.
Qualifications
- Have a medical doctorate or equivalent.
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Have completed an ACGME accredited residency in neurology.
- Have completed an ACGME accredited sleep medicine fellowship.
- Be board certified in neurology and board certified or board eligible in sleep medicine.
