Academic Physician Endocrinology

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek an Endocrinologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV and/or other locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the area of Endocrinology.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical and translational research.
• For Associate Professor or Professor rank, sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree and eligibility to obtain a state medical license.
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Completed an accredited Internal Medicine residency program and an Endocrinology fellowship program by the time of appointment.
• All qualifications must be met by appointment time.
