Academic Pediatric Endocrinologist
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join our Pediatrics subspecialty faculty team.
Position
Academic pediatric endocrinologist in the residency program of Pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Educate and mentor resident physicians.
- Participate as an active faculty member in the residency program.
- Deliver patient care under the auspices of Hurley Medical Center and Children’s Hospital.
- Engage in academic activities, including teaching, curriculum development, and faculty meetings.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics with subspecialty in endocrinology.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Tech‑savvy, willing to work with an urban population.
- Commitment to teaching and academic medicine.
Academic Appointment
Hurley faculty members may apply for an academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.
Loan Forgiveness
Loan forgiveness may be possible for those with eligible student debt under the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
Visa Status
H1-B visas may be acceptable.
