Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Academic Nephrologist to join their growing practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. The position offers three potential paths including general nephrology, critical care medicine, or interventional nephrology with a negotiable distribution of effort. Practice Info

• Department of Nephrology at the Ochsner Medical Center (OMC) in New Orleans, Louisiana
• Large multispecialty academic group practice setting
• Academic appointment available through the Ochsner Clinical School, affiliated with The University of Queensland (Australia)
• Graduate Medical Education Programs featuring a Nephrology fellowship including 2/3 physicians per year over a two-year program

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across the spectrum of tertiary care for a nephrology practice
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical research programs to enhance the quality and safety of patient care in a large multispecialty academic group practice setting
