- Northwell Nephrology is known for its expertise in clinical research in medical education, POCUS, kidney transplantation, dialysis, anemia and hyperkalemia, outcomes research, COVID-related AKI, onconephrology, and glomerular diseases.
- The program has a successful general nephrology fellowship and specialized fellowships in transplantation and glomerular diseases/onconephrology.
- North Shore University Hospital is an 812-bed teaching hospital academically affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Compensation
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
