Academic Hepatologist Physician

Job Title

Full‑time Hepatologist – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (West Virginia University School of Medicine)

Location

Morgantown, WV

Schedule

40 hours per week, Exempt

Duties

• Outpatient hepatology clinic
• General endoscopy
• Attend inpatient gastroenterology/hepatology consult service (approximately 1:8)
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Develop independent research and clinical programs

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology
• Completed accredited internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship, and transplant hepatology fellowship
• All qualifications must be met by date of appointment
