SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is actively recruiting a full-time Academic Geriatric Physician to join their internationally recognized team. Physicians will have the opportunity to engage in clinical care, teaching, and research as part of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. This role combines ambulatory medicine, long-term and skilled nursing care, and inpatient services within a renowned academic medical environment.
Practice Info
- Ambulatory medicine clinics, long-term and skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient care
- Academic practice at a Level 1 trauma center
- Longstanding geriatric medicine fellowship: 35 years of geriatric medicine and over 140 fellows trained
- Academically active at national meetings for AMDA, AGS, AAHPM
- Active GWEP HRSA grant
Responsibilities
- Clinical care in ambulatory medicine clinics, long-term and skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient care
- Teaching and oversight of students, residents and fellows in all clinical care sites
- Support for geriatric medicine and palliative care fellowship programs
