Academic General Neurohospitalist Physician (NTT)

Job Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine seeks Neurohospitalists to join our team in an inpatient academic setting. This position primarily involves providing inpatient neurology services and performing neurology consultations, including those through Emergency Medicine. The focus is on general neurology cases, excluding stroke patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality inpatient neurology care and consultations.
• Educate and mentor medical students and residents in clinical settings.
• Perform inpatient EMG as qualified.
• Engage in telehealth services and outpatient general neurology as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• DO or MD medical degree.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in neurology.
• Successfully completed residency training in neurology.
• Licensed or willing to obtain a medical license to practice in Missouri.
