Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SLUCare Physician Group are seeking a full-time Academic General Cardiologist to join a growing and collaborative cardiovascular team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. This position offers an excellent blend of clinical practice, teaching, echocardiography, inpatient consultative care, and academic engagement. The successful candidate will develop a busy outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice with a focus on general cardiology, echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography.

- Medical teaching hospital for Saint Louis University School of Medicine, exclusively staffed by the SLUCare Physician Group
Responsibilities
- Outpatient and inpatient general cardiology practice
- Interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms and EKGs
- Performance of transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Inpatient consult service coverage
- Teaching and mentorship of cardiology fellows and trainees
- Opportunities for clinical research and academic advancement

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Echocardiography experience required
- Academic experience preferred, though all qualified candidates will be considered
