Job Description
The University of Missouri's School of Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist who is committed to clinical excellence and has an interest in contributing to the medical education of our fellows. This position is specifically for outpatient and procedural lab coverage.
About Us
The GI division is home to faculty with expertise across several areas to include nutrition, IBD, and therapeutic endoscopy. It offers a multidisciplinary team approach to all varieties of gastrointestinal disorders in collaboration with several specialties and subspecialties, including surgery, radiology, pathology, oncology, and surgical oncology.

- Harry S. Truman VA Hospital
- Fairview Digestive Health Center
Schedule
Outpatient schedule, Monday through Friday days to be split between clinic and the procedural lab. An additional 0.5-1 administrative day provided.
Rank
All ranks available; non‑tenure track. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- MD/DO, board‑certified in gastroenterology.
- Successful completion of an ACGME‑accredited GI fellowship.
- For the purposes of this application, board‑certified/board‑eligible are considered experienced.
Candidates will be evaluated on fellowships in the following areas:
- IBD
- Motility
- General Endoscopy
