Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek an Endocrinologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV, in the area of Endocrinology. The role includes patient care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in clinical and translational research.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in Endocrinology.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical and translational research.
• For Associate Professor or Professor rank, sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Board certified or eligible in internal medicine.
• Completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and an endocrinology fellowship program by the time of appointment.
• All qualifications met by the time of appointment.
