Academic Coach
Qualifications:
- AZ certified in Single or Multiple Subjects
- Knowledge and awareness of Native American Culture.
- Training in Differentiated instruction and data driven instruction.
Term of Employment: 9 months
Reports To: Principal
Job Goal: To provide support to staff to increase student achievement.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Design training materials and provide professional development training to address and/or identify teacher instructional needs.
- Work directly with teachers in providing classroom based demonstrations, collaborative and one-on-one support and facilitating teacher inquiry and related professional development.
- To work with teachers to enhance the teacher's ability to provide instruction that builds the students' sense of engagement in ownership of learning.
- To collect and analyze data, interpret and use it to guide instructional decisions.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
