Academic Bowl Coach
Successful applicants must teach or be eligible to teach one of the four core subjects – English, Math, Science, or Social Studies – and be currently assigned to the school in which they will coach. Previous experience with academic competition recommended but not required. Duties will include attending county organizational meetings, recruiting team members, practicing (a minimum of ten separate practices) weekly during the Academic Bowl season (approximately September through December), and participating in five or more intra-county tournaments and/or scrimmages. Coaches will receive a $500 stipend. Note: These positions will begin with the school year.
