Abdominal Radiologist

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, is seeking a dedicated radiologist to join the abdominal imaging division. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, MRI, US, Abdominal Fluoroscopy, and PET/CT, with opportunities for internal sub-specialization based on individual interests. Practice Info

• Abdominal imaging faculty perform CT/MRI/US/Abdominal Fluoroscopy and PET/CT with internal sub-specialization in line with a faculty member's interests.
• The division presently consists of 14 faculty members supported by licensed professional extenders and a dedicated radiology communication center.
• Biopsies and other procedures are performed by a separate interventional division.
• Overnight coverage is provided by a separate emergency radiology division.
• The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows.
• Technical highlights include state of the art information technology, 3T MRI, a PET/MRI, Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT/MRI/US/Abdominal Fluoroscopy and PET/CT with internal sub-specialization in line with a faculty member's interests.
• Provide diagnostic imaging and teaching at the primary medical center.
• Develop research in collaboration with clinical colleagues as well as basic science/engineering groups at the university.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $475,000-$525,000
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
