Job Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in designing and building solutions using Ab Initio tool stack.
- Understand existing system design and its components and make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
- Analyze various data sources, identify trends, and draw conclusion. Collaborate with teams to review the trends, thought process and conclusion.
- Understand complex ETL solutions in place and perform tuning or fixes as required
- Perform deployment of code to QA, UAT, and Production using CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
Skills and Experience Required:
- 7+ years of ETL/BI/DW solution development and implementation experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on development experience with Ab Initio (GDE 3.1 or higher) and its components strong technical experience in understanding, designing, and implementing Ab Initio jobs.
- Solid knowledge of the Ab Initio execution environment (shell scripting, debugging, metadata).
- Hands‑on development experience using Ab‑Initio that includes Graphs, Plans, EME, Metadata Hub, or Conduct IT Technology
- 3+ years of experience with Teradata and Oracle database systems
- Strong expertise in SQL Concepts, writing complex queries, query optimization, UNIX shell scripting.
- Well versed with agile methodologies
- Knowledge/understanding of US healthcare domain is preferred.
