Ab Initio DeveloperCharlotte, NCLong termResponsibilities:Design and develop scalable ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, etc.)Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Optimize data processing workflows for performance and reliability.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.Maintain and enhance existing Ab Initio applications and workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve data and ETL issues in a timely manner.Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.8+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools (GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, etc.)Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, etc.)Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data processing.Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred, but not required:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data migration.Knowledge of data governance and data security practices.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with other ETL tools or big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
