Smart Home IntegratorWorks with other installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance. Must have Control4 Certification and be able to program URC. Knowing Crestron is also a plus, but not necessary.Requires excellent communication skillsSelf-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply "best practices" theoryStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to use hand and power toolsBe able to lift heavy objectsComplete multi-room audio/video installs and setupSatellite/Cable systems setup and installAdvanced troubleshooting of simple systemsBasic networking/data system installation and setupControl4 programming and troubleshooting of multi-room, advanced systemsBasic understanding of multi-room systems and setupBasic understanding of security camera systems programming and designCEDIA ESTII or better certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced Installation SkillsHighly detailed, organized, and multitask drivenAbility to work on rotating "on-call" service scheduleProficient in all Assistant level qualificationsCompetent skills with desktop and mobile computingClean driving record and background check (required for DCJS certification)Minimum of 1-year field experienceThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
