A Facility in California Is Looking for a Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

Job Overview

This locum tenens assignment involves 12‑hour shifts with a heavy focus on night work. You will be responsible for treating 10‑25 patients per shift, managing 4‑10 deliveries, handling 3‑5 GYN ED calls, and performing 0‑2 GYN surgeries each 12‑hour period. OB call deliveries, c‑sections, and GYN emergencies are required.

Shift and Patient Load

• 12‑hour shifts, primarily at night
• 10–25 patients per 12‑hour shift
• 4–10 deliveries per 12‑hour shift
• 3–5 GYN ED calls per 12‑hour shift
• 0–2 GYN surgeries per 12‑hour shift
• OB call delivery and c‑sections, GYN emergencies required
• Option to fly in for 5 or more shifts monthly

Compensation and Benefits

• Paid malpractice insurance; pre‑paid travel and housing expenses
• Hourly rate: $150.00–$225.00 (all‑inclusive base pay with overtime, call, and holiday pay)
• 24‑hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant
• Charter member of NALTO
