DESCRIPTION: Trade Team USA is seeking experienced A Class Marine Electricians for a long-term submarine construction opportunity. There are currently 10 openings for the upcoming class. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of marine electrical experience; however, candidates with more extensive hands-on marine electrical experience are strongly encouraged due to the anticipated difficulty of the A Class Electrical Test. Selected candidates will enter an EB training program after onboarding. Electricians will receive training in submarine-specific skills and requirements before being released to perform work in the field. This opportunity is currently accepting A Class Marine Electricians ONLY. B Class candidates are not being accepted at this time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3+ years of marine electrical experience required for submission.
- Must qualify as an A Class Marine Electrician.
- U.S. Citizens only.
- Must successfully pass the required A Class Electrical Test.
- Must successfully complete the required EB background screening.
- Must successfully pass the required drug screening.
- Must successfully complete pre-badging requirements.
- Must be available to work Day or Night Shift.
- Must be available for the November 26, 2026 orientation/training class.
- Must complete testing, background screening, and pre-badging no later than November 19, 2026.
- Must be willing to complete EB's required submarine-specific training program before being released into the field.
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Candidates should have strong hands-on marine/shipboard electrical experience, including applicable experience with:
- Marine electrical installation
- Shipboard electrical systems
- Cable installation and termination
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Electrical testing
- Reading and interpreting marine electrical drawings and schematics
- Electrical panels and distribution systems
- Shipboard power systems
- Electrical hand and power tools
- Electrical test equipment

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform A Class electrical work in support of submarine construction.
- Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair marine electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret applicable electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
- Install, route, connect, and terminate electrical cables and components.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting using appropriate test equipment.
- Work with shipboard electrical panels, equipment, and power-distribution systems as assigned.
- Identify electrical deficiencies and perform corrective work according to applicable requirements.
- Safely operate electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Perform electrical work in an active marine/shipbuilding environment.
- Complete required EB submarine-specific skills training.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality, security, and production requirements.
- Work assigned day or night shifts based on project requirements.
- Perform additional A Class Marine Electrician duties as assigned.
