Outbound Material HandlerThe Outbound Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked, consolidated, packed, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth outbound operations. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices, completed on foot or using forklift equipmentSort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processingPack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system or CVP machines, focusing on providing an excellent customer experienceBundle and verify orders for shipment, ensure order accuracy, and operate the bundler systemLoad and stack packages into designated trailers, verify carriers, move palletized products as needed, and manage trailer lockout proceduresOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standardsMeet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of workMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goalsAbide by all company and warehouse policiesFlex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operationStarting Wage is $23.50/hr, with the potential raise every 6 months of up to $0.88.Physical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
