JOB TITLE : Temporary Paraprofessional
STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Hiring Manager and Human Resources
TERMS : 185 Day (as needed)
P AY GRADE : $10.00/Hour
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for fulfilling the duties of the absent aide.
Qualifications :
Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to operate office equipment including computers for clerks
• Ability to work effectively with people

Experience:

• Working with diverse groups

Major Responsibilities and Duties :

1. Work with all children
2. Assist in maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning
3. Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages and/or route to appropriate staff
4. Sort, distribute, or deliver mail and other documents
5. Operate office and classroom equipment including computers
6. Perform other related duties as assigned
